Full-time position available for immediate hire.
Location: Portland, OR

Job Description/Requirements:

Must have:
• 3-5 years experience with AutoCAD in an architectural office
• Experience detailing Type V construction

Must be:
• an efficient problem solver
• capable of working independently under the supervision of a licensed architect
• organized, thorough and detail oriented
• understand how buildings are built
• willing and eager to learn

The following would round out a more ideal candidate for this position:
• Bachelors degree a plus
• On the path toward licensure a plus
• Sketch-up proficiency a plus
• Multi-family experience a plus

Architectural Project Manager/Designer

Portland area Senior Housing Developer seeking in-house Architectural Project Manager/Designer for large-scale senior housing projects.

Full-time position available for immediate hire.
Location: Portland, OR

Job Description:
Working under the direction of a licensed architect you will work with a small team to develop designs and working drawings for large-scale senior housing projects in multiple states.

Manager must have:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field
• 6-12 years in an architectural office with progressively responsible experience
• Experience detailing large-scale Type V residential construction is highly valued
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products
• Some multi-family and/or mixed-use design experience
• Desire to improve the lives of seniors through design
• Experience directing a small drafting staff

Designer must have:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field
• 5-8 years experience designing large scale mixed use/multifamily/senior housing projects
• Experience evaluating zoning requirements and developing large scale site development
• Extensive experience with Sketchup required
• Experience with Revit a plus

Must be:
• An efficient problem solver
• Capable of working independently under the supervision of a licensed architect
• Organized, thorough and detail oriented
• Knowledgeable in building construction methods

The following would round out a more ideal candidate for this position:
• Licensed Architect or on the path towards licensure
• 3D modeling/rendering experience
• Hand rendering/conceptual sketch experience
• Revit experience

The Distinguished Service Awards are given annually in recognition of exceptional performance, achievement, or demonstration of supreme qualities of character and culture so extraordinary as to set the individual Generations employee apart from his or her peers. There are seven categories of award recognizing specific achievements, some eligible only by specific job position or length of employment.

The Mabel Maddock Service Award

Named for Wendell White’s excellence-driven grandmother, this award is presented to individuals who demonstrate truly exceptional service to Generations residents; value residents as unique individuals; foster the sense of being-at-home for residents; and are masters of service ‘wows’.

The Stewardship Award

Founded in recognition of 2 of the 5 key Generations Values, those who achieve this award foster ethical and efficient use of company resources, funds, and labor; integrate impactful innovations related to such; and demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit in the spirit of our Founder, Wendell White.

The Teamwork Award

One of the most competitive categories, those recognized as Teamwork Award title-holders foster cooperation and collaboration; are flexible and motivated; are instrumental in the development peers; performed job duties with excellence; demonstrate humility, integrity, inclusiveness, and compassion; live and embrace all 4 aspects of Fish Philosophy and the Generations Mission of Enhancing Lives and Celebrating the Excitement of Living!
