My expectations have been exceedingly met and the staff and administration has been wonderful. The food has been quite good, and when I’ve offered suggestions for changes they were happy and more than willing to accommodate.

During my mom’s final 4 years, she chose to live in the Fairfield Village community. Everyone was so supportive of her desire to live independently and stepped in to help when she struggled. I appreciated the transitional living choices that allowed her to remain within the community she loved.

Fairfield Village provided wonderful care for my mother in the last nine months of her life, ending in Memory Care. We are very appreciative of the staff at Fairfield as they truly loved her, encouraged her, and helped her. Her health unfortunately was in a downward spiral that started before she entered Fairfield. Thank you for all of your care — it was first rate! Your work is important and meaningful!

I regret to share my disappointing experience with Fairfield Village Assisted Living in Layton Utah. We chose this assisted living facility for my mom, hoping it would provide the care and support she needs. Unfortunately, it has become clear that the level of service we are paying for is not being delivered.Despite numerous meetings with the resident care coordinator, we have seen no improvements in my mom’s care. Often she has only received meals because we followed up with the facility, resident’s loved ones shouldn’t have to nag the facility to make sure they are being fed. Additionally, our mother has not been properly assisted to activities, which we pay extra for and was one of the main reasons we chose this facility. Moreover, we’ve observed troubling instances where aides, rather than engaging with the residents, have spent their time on their phones instead of providing the necessary support and companionship. This lack of attention is concerning and unacceptable. We expected a nurturing environment for my mom, but sadly, our experience has been far from that. I sincerely hope that Fairfield Village Assisted Living can make significant improvements for the sake of the residents who depend on their care.

Fairfield is a wonderful place. The community is kept very clean. When you walk in the doors of Fairfield AL, IL, or transitional rehab you’ll notice it smells amazing! The care and support provided to the residents exceeds expectations. The Health Service Directors in Assisted Living (Randilyn and Etta RN’s ) will go above and beyond to ensure your loved one is well taken care of.The food services are superb. We have two main options EVERYDAY. Two soups EVERYDAY. Our culinary director works hard to ensure there is a variety of foods that residents request.Did you know Fairfield is rated the best Assisted Living in Davis County, and there are so many reasons why!The team really cares for the people.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working at Fairfield Village! There is a strong culture of love and support that employees have both between each other and with residents. They go all out to provide fun outings and events that really bring the community we have in this facility together. There is great diversity in the activities provided with consistently exceptional entertainment from various artists and musicians.

I am biased because my wife works there but I would like to say that Fairfield Village is a wonderful community. I have spent many hours at Fairfield and have come to know and appreciate the staff and residents.Andrea goes above and beyond putting together activities for the residents AND she and her staff put on AMAZING community events. She loves her job because of her passion for the people. When I visit, I see how comfortable the residents are and how happy they seem.I am most familiar with the Independent side; they greet me by name and are always very friendly and helpful.

Fairfield is such a welcoming place. The staff are like a community, we all work together to serve the residents and make Fairfield a better place, if it is wasn’t already a great place to begin with. Anyone given the opportunity to either live or work at Fairfield is sure to have an amazing experience.

I kept a close eye on Fairfield when it was being built years ago. Our family always admired its beauty, and then one of my friends who had Parkinson’s move into Assisted Living section. When I visited my dear friend at Fairfield, I appreciated the cleanliness and how good it smelled when walking through the front doors. I now live in Assisted Living and appreciate the friendliness of everyone who works here. I appreciate that maintenance keeps the facilities maintained and how housekeeping keeps it very clean. I was in rehab for a bit and appreciated that experience and how well they took care of me. I would recommend this place without any question. Thank you, Fairfield.

I have worked at Fairfield in the Assisted Living department for almost five years and I have loved every moment of it. I have learned so much and have built amazing relationships with my coworkers and the residents. I would always recommend employment here for anyone, especially those who are looking to get their foot in the doors and build their experience. Fairfield loves to give others the opportunity to start and grow in healthcare, they gave that to me and I will forever be grateful. I would also recommend those whose loved ones are needing more help and a welcoming home like environment, I see the amazing care we give to our residents everyday. Here at Fairfield we love welcoming new residents, and visitors. I hear feedback all of the time that everyone is so nice and always says “hello” to you with a smile, and it really is true.

I have lived here for almost 3 years now. Their activities are fabulous and my friends here are great! The staff here care about all the residents, I just cannot say enough about the sweet people that serve me here. The only complaint I have is that they keep raising our rent and that has been a hardship on my fixed income.

Huge Kudos to Fairfield!!!I am very impressed by all of Fairfield assisted living, Memory care, Independent living and rehab. All of the staff from administration to nurses (who have been at Fairfield for many years which is very uncommon in facilities), to cnas, med techs, activity, receptionists, housekeeping, maintenance, transportation, and kitchen staff are all second to none! There’s a feeling of ‘family’ among the staff and residents that you don’t find in any other facility. Every resident is cherished, known and called by their name. I’ve never seen a facility so accommodating to their residents! Your parents will love it too!! I wished there was a Fairfield facility in Salt Lake County!!

Fairfield Village is an exceptional Senior Living Facility. We moved my Father and Step Mother into independent living in April of 2023. They have been extremely comfortable, and have enjoyed the excellent care by the staff. We just moved them from independent living into assisted living and the care is even more caring and diligent.I work as a professional Firefighter in Sacramento California. My first in area has no less than 10 similar (Nationwide and well known) facilities , and Fairfield Village would be at the top!I strongly recommend this as home for the specific needs of your family members!

We love Fairfield Village! My brothers and I were looking at options for our parents. They needed more “life” in their life. We toured Fairfield, Sherry was fantastic. The tour was engaging and the feeling of the community was warm and enviting. After touring other facilities we decided this was the place and we are so pleased with the decision. The staff is so hard working and very willing to listen. It is a great solution for our family!!! Thanks Fairfield ❤️

My mother has been a resident in the assisted living portion of Fairfield Village in Layton, Utah for almost six months. The management and staff have been great to work with. The medical team is wonderful! Linda and others at the front desk are always helpful and courteous. I have eaten several meals in the cafeteria with my mother and they serve tasty meals and do it efficiently. The programs and events that are planned for the residents are always good. My wife and I are happy with the care my mother receives and all the people who work there. I would recommend it to anyone who may be considering the need for assisted living for themselves or a loved one.Wayne Eckman

I went in here unsure what to expect really. I was treated with great care. All the staff, nurses, therapists and aides were so friendly and really cared about my well being. I felt like I gained another family while staying here. I was unsure and concerned about my new diet, but both Izzy and Bryan went out of their way to make sure I understood it and even checked in on me in my room. They answered all my questions and even made sure I had salad dressings and marinate I could use on my food so it wasn’t so bland. When it was time for me to finally go home many of us cried. We were happy I was improving but sad I was leaving, just like family. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone going through transition from hospital before home. Thank you all again. I will be visiting soon, but this time as a healthier version of me.

My Father lived in Fairfield Independent Living and Assisted Living over the course of 2 years. He was in and out of their Rehabilitation center a couple times too. He loved it there (especially the activates) and really enjoyed talking with new friends and staff members. They staff made him feel comfortable and safe. They went out of their way to assist him while in Independent Living until we moved him to the Assisted Living complex. The only complaint he had was the food….but that would be the same almost anywhere I bet. Defiantly not inexpensive (nearly 6K a month at the end!), but the service he and I received was well worth the cost. I can’t thank the staff enough for helping me with him through his final two years.Chris

The culinary department at Fairfield Village supports the resort-style living that they strive for. The kitchen managers, Izzie and Angel, keep the menu changing and ensure quality in every dish for the residents. Providing the residents with different options everyday with new and delicious food, paired with the excellent service makes the everyday meals amazing.

I just want to give a shout out for the fabulous food they have at Fairfield village. The person in charge of the kitchen (Izzy) his food is so yummy. My mother in law says she’s never eaten so good before. And everytime I’ve eaten something from there it’s been excellent. It’s almost eating fine dining for the meals. Super variety as well. Something for everyone. I think I need to move in just for the food alone.

Fairfield Village Independent Living was wonderful for my dad. He enjoyed all of the people there, both the patients and the staff. All of the staff there, bend over backwards to make sure that everyone is happy and comfortable. They are a pleasure to work with. The food is very good and they have a great variety. The cleaning staff does a great job, making sure that the units are always clean and the linens changed. It took a great deal of stress off of me knowing that my dad had people around him that genuinely cared. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a safe, clean and hospitable place for their loved ones.
Fairfield Village of Layton Assisted Living is an excellent facility with a very caring and helpful staff. The location is relaxing and comfortable both for guests and visitors.

I could not ask for a better place for my mother to live. Cherrywood/ Royal Ann Staff, all across-the-board had been respectful, caring, friendly helpful, Informative, and professional. Two things I had problems with was one disrespectful receptionist at front desk Royal Ann Assisted living. While dining with my mother A few times.Tables had dried food and sticky spills on them. Cherrywood is such a welcoming place , we have offered additional support for their residents over the years and I can truly say it is one of my favorite places. The chef at this Restaurant is a large pile of horse dung. He treats his dishwashers like second class citizens, I worked there and couldn’t be happier to leave. Only thing could be improved is healthy food choices. They do not cater to diabetic or cardiac diets. My mother has lived here many years and enjoys the facility and the many friends she has made. The staff is very helpful, but the chef needs training in special diets and support by management in this area otherwise the place is great and my mother enjoys the facility and the fact she does not have to go outside in the weather for eating, banking, hairdressing, church, etc. They have it all here.

When my wife and I first visited CherryWood we were immediately impressed by the facility. The dining room is clean and airy and the food is very good. The fitness center is very well equipped and the swimming pool is the largest and best maintained that we have seen at any facility. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well maintained. We were equally impressed with the residence facilities. The hallways are wide and well lit, and all the vacant apartments have been cleaned and refurbished. The apartment we selected is exactly what we had been looking for and we signed up immediately.Since we have been here we are most impressed with the staff. They are courteous, friendly and extremely helpful. Whenever we have a problem they respond immediately and are very efficient. We could not ask for better care.We have now been here for about 18 months and we consider our move here to be the best decision we have made. We love CherryWood and would recommend it to everyone.

A message from our Senior Executive Director, Tye Gabriel

Being a Generations leader is a dream come true for me with the example my mother, grandfather, and great-great grandmother set forth. What makes it special for me are the relationships, with both our employees and residents. Every employee and resident have a different story and background. Being inclusive, meeting each person where they are at and prioritizing those values above all else is what makes Generations and Cherrywood Village different.

Wheatland Village is a clean, well maintained, all service facility. My mother and cousin reside there. They love the place. The cost is quite a bit lower than the last facility they lived in. Everyone has been very kind and helpful. My mother says she is happy here. It did not take long to get an apartment once they decided to move to Wheatland.

My grandmother lives here and we love going to visit! The food in the restaurant is amazing. We have been here for Easter brunch buffet, Halloween trick or treating, fall festival, and many more! My small kids love all the fun things throughout the year and visiting grandmas!

This review is for my Dad, who moved into Wheatland in September in the Retirement Living wing. The move was very smooth and all the staff were extremely helpful with any questions or issues we had. I would recommend the one bedroom with a den unit over the one bedroom. The layout of the main living area is comfortable and just the right amount of space. Having the den is nice for the extra space and good area to setup his computer work station and added storage. The people who live there are so friendly and quite a few introduced themselves while we were moving him in.Also the amenities and dining area are top notch. Overall, my Dad is happy with the decision to move to Wheatland (which was very hard for him). He is enjoying the social aspects and meal flexibility, to either cook for himself or dine at the restaurant.

I am reviewing as the family member who has the primary dealings with Wheatland staff regarding my resident father-in-law.Wheatland seems to be competitively priced compared to the other facilities that I toured but seems to have the best amenities and facilities. The management team is very transparent and have excellent communications. They are very proactive and do not hesitate to listen to family member concerns. They respond quickly. The facility is very well maintained and modern. Recent upgrade includes enhance cable and high-speed internet to all residences.Monthly billing is accurate and easy to understand. The food service is quite good. Restaurant quality and broad menu. The housekeeping and laundry services are high quality and reliable.Transportation for medical appointments is well coordinated and reliable.Nice fitness facility and excellent fitness coordinator. There are plenty of activities, entertainment and outings schedule to keep folks active and engaged. The health care staff is quite good. Full time nurse and health care workers are professional and caring. Regular assisted living resident assessments help ensure that necessary level care is met. They can order, store and administer all doctor prescribed medicines and supplement. Assisted living residents are all given pendants that when activated get very quick responses from the health care team.My Father-in-law has been in residence for a year and feels quite comfortable and well cared for by the entire staff. My impression is that Wheatland Village staff puts a great deal of importance on family members. Knowing that my FIL is content and trusting that he is in good hands removes a great deal of stress in my life.

I love this place! We recently decided to enroll my grandma here and she’s loving it! She mentions one employee Harley Bier a lot and how comfortable she feels around her! Unfortunately I live in a different state so i can not tip her but i highly suggest if you or a loved one visits to see and tip Ms. Bier! Sending love!

The staff are committed to providing quality care. Wheatland Village is a gorgeous place to retire. The residents are the best in Walla Walla. The nursing staff are compassionate and go out of their way to make the residents feel at home. And finally, the kitchen staff are very accommodating and always a pleasure to visit with.

My mom has been here for 4 1/2 years now, and is as happy as when she moved in. Her apartment is so much more than expected! She has entertained family from out of town with no worry. She has enjoyed being able to cook for herself these years. The staff have been just exceptional through all of the years. She loves the library, the bank built into the facility for convenience, and other amenities. She is moving to ease the transitiion in her living over the next several years of her life. Thank you to all of the staff that work to provide such a high level of care and community for their residences! LOVE the balconies!

We moved my 89-year-old mother into Montage Creek a little over a month ago. She has thrived there! The staff has been so accommodating and kind to her. Every time I visit, Mom mentions how nice and clean everything is and how much she enjoys the Bible study and worship services there. We couldn’t be happier with her care.

An excellent facility! My husband has been in assisted living for over 5 years and I’ve lived in an independent cottage for over 2 years. What makes Montage Creek so special is the staff. With my husband’s physical and mental challenges, everyone is so kind and so accommodating. Montage Creek is big enough to offer nice amenities, but still small enough for great individual attention. Cottage living is like living in your own home but without any of the hassles or responsibilities. It’s in a terrific location convenient to everything in Montrose. Living here is the perfect solution for our senior years.

My 90-year-old father has lived at Montage Creek A/L for over two years and loves everything about it! He raves about the food and appreciates all the activities that keep him busy and healthy. The staff is great and works hard to keep me informed of any changes. I recommend this facility for anyone who can no longer live on their own.

My Mom is the Director of the Memory Care Unit as of recent. She has been employed there for almost a year and a half and not only do I see the impact it’s having on my mothers life but also the occasional visits I make to the facility the residents seem extremely happy and in great spirits. The staff are dedicated and there because they want to be and they are in it for the right reasons. It always seems very warm and welcoming. And the care for the residents is obviously above the standard.

Just called this facility, in hopes of finding an old family friend for my father who has Alzheimers. I realize the privacy policies but just wanted to leave a message for this person IF they are a resident there. The girl who answered the phone, after explaining the situation, was extremely rude. I completely understand the policy but there was need to be like that. Just wanted to leave a message.

These wonderful people take great care of my dad. He has Alzheimers. He has bad days but these people still take exceptional care of him. He is never alone. Love how he is taken care of. I’m out of state and it’s one less worry for me.

During a recent visit to Carmel Village, I was impressed by the facility’s staff. They are uniformly kind, compassionate, and welcoming. VETERANS BEWARE. We were assured that the staff was knowledgeable and well versed in dealing with the Veterans Administration Benefits process. My dad, Marvin Newman lived at Carmel Village Clovis for about a year before he passed away. My mother in law is in the memory care and we are completely happy with her care. The facility is very clean, employees go out of their way to make sure the patient and family has everything they need. If you have a loved one who is in need of assisted living, I highly recommend Carmel Village in Clovis, CA.From the office staff, receptionist, care givers, med-techs and dining room staff, EVERYONE is professional and so caring! My grandmother passed away a week ago, the staff went above & beyond their call of duty to help through this very stressful time. The communication was excellent. They took the time out of their day to make sure the family was doing ok & this was so much appreciated. I couldn’t have asked for a better team of care givers during her stay at this facility. My grandmother loved the environment, staff & those who lived there. The facility is very clean, modern and welcoming!THANK YOU CARMEL VILLAGE!Dawnette Rivasc/o Pearl Engle

When it came time to place my mom in an Assisted Living facility, it was a difficult decision for her and her children. We set up tours of several facilities, and she chose Carmel Village above all the others. The staff is warm and welcoming. They took the time to introduce my mom to other residents so she felt comfortable being there. They made the transition easy for all of us.

We moved my mother in law to Carmel Village last September. Unfortunately, she is totally bed ridden and requires round the clock care. She has been in hospice care at the same time. That said, we are grateful beyond words for moving her to Carmel Village in this most difficult time. The staff demonstrate kindness, love, care and professionalism beyond our expectations. We visit daily and always leave knowing that our loved one is safe, loved and receiving wonderful care. The facility is beautiful. Our grandchildren say it’s like Great Grandma is at a “really nice hotel!” My wife and I agree. We only wish she could experience all that Carmel Village has to offer but, that won’t happen. However, we truly appreciate the staff and their genuine kindness.
When A-Plus Senior Placements sends potential family members to Carmel Village at Clovis to tour we know they are in good hands. Polly is always friendly and transparent. Polly digs deeply into the discovery process to ensure they can meet the needs of the families loved one. It is evident that Polly truly cares about the senior industry as a whole.

This is the best place to live. We have been here over 4 years and have enjoyed everyday. It truly is a great place to call home. You couldn’t ask for better amenities and service. Residents and staff live together as family in a five star facility. The facility has an indoor heated saltwater pool, a fully equipped gym, a garden where residents can have their own plot to manage, tennis court , putting green and a wide variety to other amenities. We also have a dynamic schedule of activities for residents. THIS IS THE PLACE YOU WANT TO BE 😊‼️,

I’ve been living here for almost 6 years and couldn’t be happier. The amenities are wonderful, activities are numerous and the staff is the best. Apartments are comfortable with full kitchen and stacked washer dryer in unit. If I have a regret it’s that I waited till my 60s to move in!
Review**Look no further!**They had me at “Blue Zone.” Blue Zones are areas in the world where there is a high concentration of people who live into their 100s. Paradise Village is in the final stages of being classified as a Blue Zone, and it’s easy to see why.Ronda gave us an excellent tour of the facility. One of the first things you notice is the indoor pool and gym. They even have their own park! The in-room washer and dryer are amenities you don’t see very often.Having Paradise Valley Hospital right next door is a convenience I’ve never seen before. We’re looking forward to the holistic approach to aging in place that Paradise Village offers.

My four years in Independent Living here at Paradise Village have been wonderful. I toured 12 similar facilities in the San Diego area and this one “checked all the boxes” of what I wanted: from my own washer/dryer to garaged parking. Once moved in, I began to experience the very friendly working staff, accessible department managers, a feeling of personal safety with a 24/7 security staff, the on-site maintenance crew that helps in many ways, plus plenty of varied social opportunities to fit any resident’s idea of fun and relaxation. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made!

My brother has been here almost one month. They always try to get everyone to participate in the activities. Today he was exercising with the leg bands and then he was playing Balloon Volleyball! Thank you thank you Jamie. For getting him look at the independent living area. I do suggest to change your name tag of sales etc.. To sometimes else. First words come out of his mouth. I don’t want to buy anything. It started off hard for him to even look at the place. Where as if he had something besides sales on name. Might make it easier. Older people like my father are tight with there money. Even when they do have the means to rent these beautiful apartments. Jamie thank you for your time and patience!

My mother is 84 and slowing down. She can no longer live alone. The staff is very attentive and consistent with the level of care. I appreciate how this facility encourages the residents to eat in the dining room and to socialize. My mom seems to be more upbeat and in good spirits since her move here

Paradise Village is a special place!! The residents are friendly. When I suffered the effects of a fall anhow d required spinal surgery, there was no way I could live alone.Because we did not know how my recovery would go, I gave up my apartment. After surgery, I spent time in Post Accute Rehab. With that, I was able to live alone again, I could not wait to return to Paradise Village and friends. After a 5 month absence, I am HOME! I love and apprecia it even more than before. I missed my friends and the wonderful staff here.

My father and mother lived there for several years. The property is very nice with excellent amenities. The central feature is the Plaza building which houses the restaurant, credit union, theatre for both live performances and movie presentations, crafts rooms, library, indoor pool and a state of the art gym. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. Especially when compared with other locations, this one is an amazing place at affordable pricing.

Paradise Village has been so amazing with my friend in the memory care unit. The facility is very clean. Staff is kind, gentle and efficient with her and all visitors. The accommodations are clean and furnished, including bed linens and pillow! The patients appear calm and well cared for. This facility bent over backwards for a very quick placement, and we are forever grateful to Jaime and the Staff that helped us. Well done!

I am the primary steward for my 95 year-old aunt. She spent a very happy and socially active six years in a lovely apartment in independent living at Paradise Village. When her needs grew she transitioned to assisted living. Her caregivers are attentive, gentle, and loving. They treat her like family.

Paradise Village, Cedars Assisted Living, has been home for my aunt for over five years. She loves her Paradise Village family. She calls it a vacation every day. She is cheerfully greeted by name by all staff. The village is beautifully maintained. Her room is cleaned, her laundry is done by the staff with a smile. She enjoys activities like the entertainment ,exercise and art classes. Auntie enjoys the support but independence at the Cedars!

I have lived at Paradise Village. It is my home. I feel secure in knowing the management and staff are here for me and they have, in fact, enriched my life. Other residents are among those I call friends. Combine this with a variety of activities, healthy meals, and just plain fun, there is no better place to live. Good leaders, good friends, and careful attention to senior needs makes my decision to move to Paradise Village a smart move.

We found the overall experience at Paradise Village to be impressive. Carolyn did a great job with the tour and it made our decision so much easier when our mother’s needs increased to have her reside there. The staff, caregivers and programs are first class and were reasonable priced. We now have two sets of parents there in different care levels, Paradise Village was at the top list of our choices.

I have lived at Paradise Village for 6 years. From the day we walked through the front door and were greeted witha warm smile and hello .To the consultant who gave us an overview of price andvarious apartments to choose from based on our needs. To our walk around to observe the happy outgoing Staff and busypeopleTo the tasty and enjoyable lunch as we watched the Interaction between theServers and the residents .To coming back the next day and signing the paperwork.kTo why such a snap decision? clearly those living and working here were happy. We moved in a week later.I call Paradise Village a Cruise Ship that never leaves port. And like a Cruise ship we enjoyed all the activities, parties and madewonderful friends .Sadly my husband Norton passed away 2 years later but unlike beingsalone in my house with our children concerned about my being aloneI was surrounded by friends .And then the Light Bulb moment of reality ! What a wise decisionwe made that day 6 years ago to move here.Update 2025I am starting my 12 th year here at Paradise village and everything I put in my first post is exactly the same as today except it’s now been 10 Years since my husband Norton passed away. Sometimes I’m so busy here with one one thing after another and I actually have to. put myself in time out for activities and needless to say the Christmas and Hanukkah activities here were amazing and then of course New Year’s Eve but what makes PV such a wonderful place to live is it is truly a village of kind, friendly and fun people both residence and staff. This is my home filled with friends every step I take ..I could live with anyone of my 4 Daughters in Las Vegas, Tucson Atlanta Georgia and what what I do all day and where would my independence be I love my girls, but I like my independent living and activities to keep me busy and mind active. That’s why I love it here.

I just helped my mom move in here. Everyone on the staff has been very friendly and warm and accommodating. The village is overall very nice with a lot of amenities that hopefully my mom will be able to use. The price is slightly higher than tour standard indy village but the setting is much much nicer than most of the other places we looked at. Hollie in the new resident department was super friendly and answered all our questions. Reggie (night security) was helpful and friendly when I was here at night after work trying to bring various stuff up to setup moms apt. Jacqueline at the front desk is always friendly and warm when I call in to ask a question. The waiters and waitresses at the restaurant are really sweet and accomplishing.
