As Chief Financial Officer at Generations, Kristin Walker brings a unique blend of financial acumen and reverence for the senior care industry to her role. With 9 years of dedicated service to Generations, Kristin has been instrumental in steering the organization's financial strategy and operations through an unprecedented pandemic and periods of rapid growth.

With 18+ years of experience and a Master's degree in Accounting, Kristin provides a high level of expertise to her role as well as a balancing force when it comes to managing complex financial challenges and opportunities. She is passionate about knowledge sharing and takes pride in fostering the growth and development of the accounting team, following the mantra, “we fail and succeed together.”

As Senior Vice President of Operations at Generations, Lee Kaufmann provides leadership and accountability for resident care and quality, regulatory compliance, community operations, team performance, financial results, and long-term growth across the organization. Lee works in close partnership with community and regional leaders to strengthen operational consistency, establish clear guardrails, and ensure Generations can grow without sacrificing the culture and quality that define the company.

Lee brings approximately 10 years of senior living leadership and 25 years of operational experience with Nordstrom and Target. He is a caring and effective leader who believes people-centric strategies drive business performance. At Aegis Living, he reduced employee turnover from 95% to 40% through culture, training, benefits, and career-pathing initiatives. Using curiosity, active listening, and strength-based development, Lee helps teams perform at their best while preserving the human connection at the center of Generations.

As Regional Vice President of Operations at Generations, Joel Bitler leads operational performance across the organization’s Colorado communities, with accountability for resident care and quality, regulatory compliance, team engagement, financial stewardship, and local partnerships. A Registered Nurse and Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, he combines 23 years of healthcare experience with a practical, people-first approach to operations.

Prior to this role, Joel spent 12 years with Columbine Health Systems, ultimately serving as Chief Operating Officer, where he helped to guide the organization through its successful sale and transition to Generations. Impressed by Generations’ values-driven legacy and commitment to both residents and employees, Joel’s goal is to continue raising the bar for care while creating sustainable results that benefit residents, team members, partners, and the broader senior living industry.

As Director of Operations at Generations, Stacey Terry combines 15 years of senior living experience with an extensive clinical background for her role overseeing regional teams and communities. Her unique perspective as both a Surgical RN and a business leader enables her to align clinical operations with financial objectives, ensuring success in an ever-evolving industry.

Stacey’s professional journey is marked by rapid advancement and impactful leadership. After transitioning from the surgical world to senior living, she was promoted to Executive Director after just three weeks in a community. Since then, she has consistently led regulatory and financially challenged communities to success.

A lifelong athlete driven by competition, Stacey is a coach by nature. She ensures her teams have the tools they need to succeed, sets clear expectations, and mentors leaders to foster a culture of performance excellence.
