MOTHER’S DAY TEA PARTY
Mothers are the reason that each of us live and breathe. To celebrate all our mothers here at The Winslow, we are hosting a Mother’s Day Tea Party, similar to last year. We will have food, drinks, and music. Every woman may bring her spouse and children, after all, they are what makes her a mother!

LUNCH OUTING: CAFE MEXICALI
Our monthly lunch outing is to Cafe Mexicali, a place that comes highly recommended by both residents and staff. We would absolutely love it if you would join us. Be sure to sign up, as spots are limited and we need to know how many people to put down for a reservation! Residents are in charge of paying for their own meals.

Ann Bryant is hosting her monthly Art Class in 101 this day, and will be further teaching about watercolor. Supplies and space are limited, so be sure to sign up. Please only sign up if you intend to go!

I stopped in for a tour of the Winslow while looking for some nice communities to recommend to clients of mine. Everybody at the Winslow was so kind and welcoming and they even squeezed me in for a last minute tour! Way to go Winslow!

My mother lived here after hip surgery because home was no longer safe or navigable. Over her 18 months she declined into dementia and aphasia which is not the responsibility of The Winslow staff, but they helped mom and kept my sister and me up-to-date (we live out of town). They ultimately helped us make the decision to move mom to a place more suited to her declining state. I cannot say enough about the whole staff, but especially Chelsea, Ryan, and Destiney — wonderful, attentive, friendly, helpful people.

My father have been a resident for more than three years. He loves the place. His apartment along with several others on his side of the building have windows that failed. From the inside, it appears like he’s living in a steam room. The tenants spend a lot of time in their units and it’s unfortunate they have to look out through the haze.

If you are looking for an independent living apartment for your loved one, visit the Winslow. My mom has lived there for a year, we have not once met any staff that was not extremely sweet and kind to all the residence. Stefanie, Kristen, Cooper, Rhea and the entire housekeeping staff and front desk staff are the BEST! 5 STARS are not enough!
